Types of chemical reactions

In this post we will discuss about the 5 types of reaction given in our cbse book.I have embedded a video below this post which will help you understand this. If you want the written form of the video go down.

1. Synthesis reaction (combination reaction)- A combination reaction is a reaction in which two or more substances combine to form a single substance.
2. Decomposition reaction- A decomposition reaction is a reaction in which a compound breaks down into two or more substances.
3. Displacement reaction- In these reactions in which one element takes place of another in a compound.
4. Double displacement reaction- A reaction in which the exchange of 2 different atoms or radicals is called a double displacement reaction.
